Summer 2016 Love Thyself Wellness Festival & Workshops Series

1pm – 8pm
The Festival invites the community to meet local wellness professionals from both traditional and alternative healing. Some will offer health analysis and nutritional programs.
This Summer Edition of #LoveThySelf Series is offering you ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FREE!
However, donations for the workshop presenters time and materials are encouraged.
The festival also includes various wellness advocates such as:
massage therapists (offering on site treatment)
aromatherapy
tonics and juices
plant-based foods
henna
movement based clothing and much more
Unwind Under the Trees
2PM – 3PM The Khadija Hands Project will offer their special relaxation session outside under the trees continuing their mission to provide tools for our mental, emotional and spiritual wellness.
Cannabis & Communities of Color
There are several ailments from chronic pain and stress to Lupus affecting communities of Color at disproportionate levels. Many of us do not know that Cannabis can offer long-term relief from symptoms and effective treatments.
Tainted Love and Dr. Yuel Boyce of Boyce Natural Health will share valuable information about medicinal Cannabis’ importance on health and wellness in our community.
African Bio Mineral Balance
1:30 – 2:30PM Crush and Kelly from A Healthy Crush will present a workshop on African Bio-Mineral Health based on Dr. Sebi’s Nutritional Guide. To learn more about nutrient rich, non-hybrid diets to increase your wellness, come through for this rare FREE workshop!
The Healing Paradox
3 – 4pm Bless Roxwell of LifeBEam Energetics will introduce The Healing Paradox, the concept that it hurts to heal!
The Healing Paradox Workshop seeks to dispel the myths around healing because we are far more equipped emotionally, mentally, physically and Spiritually if we know what’s coming, what to expect and are given the tools to understand the challenges that arise when we begin our journey towards wholeness and healing. Knowledge is power.
